This community has been so awesome to me over the last 31 years of life (Seattle Lifer!) that I figured it was time to give back. You may not have known but Crozier Photography is donating up to 6% of all of our full wedding packages to World Relief this year. Crozier Photography is giving 3% of all purchases, and the couple can elect to pay via check, saving me 3% in credit card fees. I then turn around and donate the full 6% to World Relief. World Relief is an awesome charity that provides ESL classes, transportation assistance, job search assistance, and other essential services for local refugee families.
BUT WAIT!!! THERE’S MORE!!! We are turning our 6% into 18%
This year all of our donations are being Double matched by both the government and local community partner companies. While shooting the Seattle Pacific University cycling club, who is participating in the World Relief SEA-TRI-KAN charity ride, they told me I can donate to their fund and have them matched 2:1. So not only do I get to donate money which I was planning on doing anyway, I also get support these awesome students and have it count as triple.
So thank you to all of my lovely couples this year who are forgoing racking in the credit card points in order to support this awesome cause. Barrett, Kelsey, and Garrett appreciate it, and so do I!
WE’RE NOT DONE YET! Get hitched Give Hope!
I am proud to be both volunteering for the procurement team as well as donating items this year for the Annual Get Hitched Give Hope Gala.
Get Hitched Give Hope is a one of a kind fundraising gala put on exclusively by local wedding professionals. Since 2007 they have raised over $511,000 for charity. Last year we raised well over $100,000 and we hope to hit this number again. This year we are sponsoring the Dream Foundation and the Young Survival Coalition. If you are a bride looking to purchase services from top of the line vendors at a price you can’t refuse AND donate to charity at the same time I highly encourage you to attend.
