Its about time. Some of the wedding images are from my second photographer Rebecca-Linh Rodgers of Houston. She rocks.
Its about time. Some of the wedding images are from my second photographer Rebecca-Linh Rodgers of Houston. She rocks.

So here are some of the pictures from my Wedding in Texas.
This is their first sight right outside of the church.

We then ran inside of the sanctuary for some cool shots.

The outside of the church was cool to.

Quick pull over.

A little onelight magic.I like the juxtaposition of that little black dot.

Back at the church.

more of the gorgeous sanctuary

I like this shot of the soloist.

I got a new toy recently that lets me “spot light” people. I don’t remember what happened in this picture, but I love the facial expressions on both of them.

A detail shot using the same spotlight.

Thats it for now. I am simply waiting on a DVD from my second shooter so I can pump out that slideshow.
Ciao

Don’t mess with Texas!
The Seifert family took me in while I was down in Texas shooting Kelsey and Jonathan’s wedding. They showed me a good time, taught me how to say y’all, “fixin”, and other great lines. Most importantly they showed me their sweet gun stash and let me hold a couple.
Three to be exact.

Wouldn’t my mother be proud.
OK, Down to business.
Sunday afternoon Kelsey and Jonathan showed me around town while we shot their engagement sessions. Houston has its ups and downs. We found some really nice areas tucked into the downtown. Many areas are still “Iked” from Hurricane IKE. We passed by several demolished gas stations and boarded up windows on our way around town. It made me realize that we really didn’t do a very good job of covering the hurricane up in Seattle.
Here are a few of my favorites from their e-shoot.

Feet are cool.

Rice University was simply beautiful. I would shoot here all day.

Another from Rice.

Thought I’d give this a shot.

Right before some guy got mad at us for taking a picture of a poster on the outside of Macy’s. Weird.

Thats all for now. More to come including wedding pics, and a slideshow of the wedding and e-shoot.

Mark recently got home from a 7 month Naval deployment. To celebrate his return we decided to go out and do some fun shooting up in Mount Vernon. The sun was out, and the fall colors were lookin good.
So of course I had them wander down some alley way.

And then to a fire escape. Picture created using some sweet “one lighting”

Then to the back of some shed near the free way

Until finally I had them wander into this sweet field. This place was great, except for the killer thorns on those innocent looking plants.

Doesn’t this look like it is going to go on a Christmas Card.

Thanks for Looking.

Tonight I carved my first pumpkin since I was about 12 years old. I was a bit rusty. A large group of friends from my church got together in Marysville to have a blast carving pumpkins and eating/making caramel apples. Big thanks to Whitney Harsh for being an awesome host. Whitney and her husband David, who couldn’t make it because he is performing in Wenatchee, recently bought a gorgeous house. Here are a few of my favorites.
My cousion Phil.

I didn’t know they came in Green.

The first pumpkin Tash has carved herself.

Tash and I in the process of carving our pumpkins.

We took a break from the carving to eat some delicious caramel apples. YUM! This is Coire. The first round we had a bit of a learning curve with the caramel. It turned out a bit hard.

Rusty found the chocolate sauce. I love the reflection of the blinds from my flash.

And of course Sarah’s just had to look the best. I won’t show you the pictures of her eating it. She might be embarrassed.

This shot is awesome.

And of course a little bit of shameless advertising. Using a little bit of “onelight” technology.
