Wedding at Wellspring Resort and Spa by Crozier Photography
This beautiful wedding at Wellspring Resort and Spa near Mt. Rainier was truly an over the top dream wedding in the woods. Andrew and Sarah were so kind to let me photograph this awesome experience. Wellspring is situated about 1 mile from Mr. Rainier’s Park entrance, with scenic paths, and views well suited to an outdoor adventurer tastes. Andrew and Sarah are both adventurer, and this wedding was simply put, an adventure in and of itself. The adventure truly started when we were told by a fellow guest that the wait time to get into Mt. Rainier park was well over an hour. We “punted” and drove down a road that a groomsman had biked down earlier that morning. We found a gorgeous river bed with a view of the mountain, although obstructed. Sarah needed that mountain! It is in moments like these that I truly love my job and my clients, when they are willing to be adventurous to get the photo! I really adored the ceremony location in the trees. The glowing light streaming through the trees, and their guests surrounding them in love was awesome. The Prayer photos with the guests laying on of hands are maybe some of my favorite images. The guests were treated to awesome family style tables, each adorned with a hand written note from the couple individually exclaiming why they loved them and why they were important to their lives. After delicious CHIPOTLE! for dinner (I seriously love chiptle!) the crazy dancing started. A cool part of Wellspring Resort is that it has three separate spaces well suited for a ceremony, dancing, and dinner! I haven’t seen many mosh pits at weddings before!
