Changing of the Guard. . . telephoto lenses.

I love Craigslist. All of the furniture in my home is literally bought from Craigslist. Buying used is a great way to save the environment, save money, and not worry about getting that first scratch on your leather couch. I haven’t bought much camera gear on craigslist though since I started full-time professional work. However every now and then something comes along that you simply must have, and at bargain pricing its hard not to pull the trigger.

Introducing the newest (and largest) addition to my bag of tricks. The Nikon ED AF-S Nikkor 80-200mm  f/2.8D. This lens replaces my old Nikon 80-200mm 2.8 D. Why the upgrade. This lens is sharper, and focuses about 3x as fast. Also it is completely quiet when it focuses, which is nifty. Lets just say that I got such a good deal on it that I might make money off of the trade. Anyone want my old awesome 80-200mm.

I am not one to pixel peep, but here are two shots at 100% crops. Soo stickin sharp.
