This Saturday I was down in Enumclaw shooting the wedding of my beautiful cousin Stephanie and her husband Abe Kellog. This was a great time. I went up early and found some really nice locations to hit up. My favorite spot by far was this random abandoned looking barn just the side of the road. Braving crazy shotgun toting farmers and splinters we got some really unique and fun shots. And of course we went on a mini hike, which if you know Steph and Abe makes total sense. Another neat find was a private garden with the sweat bamboo and grape vines you see. Thanks for finding this for us Aunt Joyce. In the slideshow look for my grandma bustin’ a move, she rocks. Enjoy.
Stephanie and Abe’s wedding pictures are truly some of the THE most beautiful I have EVER seen…and I’ve seen a lot!!
The day after Danielle and Justin’s wedding Tash and I hopped into our Jetta and hit the road up to Canada for our good friends Christie and Graeme’s wedding. This was a really fun wedding to shoot as we got to catch up with a bunch of old college friends that we hadn’t seen for at least a year. They were married in the small, cute and artsy town of Fort Langley. This town is very picturesque, so much so that it is often used as a backdrop for movies and TV shows. The first that comes to mind is the teenage Superman drama Smallville. Anyway, the rain stopped just minutes before the ceremony and they had the wedding outside of the Fort Langley town hall. We really felt like guests at this wedding and were so happy to be a part of the day. Thanks guys for making us feel so welcome.
Here is their slideshow. Feel free to hook me up with some blog love (comments)

I want to look at these over and over… seriously great!
Thanks Hilary. Your Pies were awesome too. YUM. Vodka in the crust!!! Who knew.
Lovely! The pics look awesome!
Saturday Tash and I went to Mount Vernon to photograph the wedding of Danielle and Justin. The wedding was really fun as we got to travel around quaint downtown Mt. Vernon and the Skagit Valley College to do our photos. Ironically probably my favorite shot was captured at an old run-down gas station with bright red pumps. I really loved that we had the reception in her Uncle and Aunt’s home. This house had so much character, every nook and cranny was full of interesting instruments, built in cabinetry, fun wall paper, and other artistic touches. These types of home are always full of beautiful light and textures. Big thanks to my wife Tash as she shot both weddings with me this weekend.

Last Friday I went up to Canada to shoot a wedding with my good friend Christina Willows. The couple was the sister of a groom I shot lost year here in Kirkland. This wedding was a blast to shoot. I love shooting in new places. The reception was at the beautiful Capilano Golf and Country Club. All in all a great weekend (except for the 2 hour border wait) Check it out.
