Jen + Nate

Last weekend I traveled down to Atlanta Georgia to photograph the wedding of my good friends Nate and Jen. I had a great time shooting this wedding. My favorite part of my job is that it sometimes takes me to other areas of the country. I really enjoyed Atlanta while I was there. I brushed up on my civil war history, visited the World of Coke, hiked up Stone Mountain, and went to the largest aquarium in the world. The wedding was held at a beautiful country club, which made for excellent photo opportunities. After the wedding Nate, Jen, and I got to do a bunch of night shots. I love doing this kind of work because it means I get to play around a little bit more than I usually would get to in creating dynamic and beautiful shots. Thanks Jen and Nate for inviting me across the country to shoot your wedding. And thanks Clarence for the hand in shooting the wedding. Here are my faves and their slideshow. Thanks for looking.

Ana and James

This Saturday Tash and I shot the beautiful wedding of Ana and James. Ana’s parents and my parents have been good friends since before I was born so this wedding was really fun for me. It was really awesome to see how much much fun Ana and James obviously had together. These guys were really big posers and goof offs in front of the camera which made for an entertaining shoot all around. We were really blessed that on the rainiest weekend of the year we managed to dodge the rain not once, but three times as we actually got to shoot outside at UW, the church, and later at Sunset hill park. We were all thrilled and a little shocked when last minute a friend of the Thomas family showed up with a Rolls Royce to shuttle them to the Reception. Of course we had to grab a few shots with it on the way. Ana and Jame’s first dance was awesome, entertaining, and electric. They did a fabulous swing dance routine which included a full on flip. Pretty sweet. Once again we had the privilege of working with an excellent DJ named Rob Martin. We appreciated Rob because he was very professional, and kept the party’s momentum going. Thanks Ana and James for letting us capture your awesome day. Here are some of my favorites followed by their slideshow.
